In this paper, we describe a novel methodology that aims at improving the estimation of noise impact and pollutant emissions from aircraftโs operations near airports. We believe this approach offers significant benefits over current methods which are constrained by the availability of OEM data which, more and more is being seen as a constraint due to its potentially commercially sensitive nature. Applying innovative ๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐ก๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ, this technique enables us to enhance the accuracy of noise and pollutant emissions estimates around airports, which ultimately supports the development of more sustainable aviation practices. This publication and the projects it will now support are a manifest demonstration of ENV-ISA’s long-term commitment to investing in research that can help promote sustainable solutions for aviation’s future.
